Shop Assistant & Supervisor Roles Available

Full and Part-time positions available

Responsibilities include

  • Taking food and drink orders
  • Packing and wrapping food
  • Operating cash registers and receive payment from customers via cash or credit/debit card
  • Preparing and cooking orders (minimum age 16**)

Salary

  • Typical hourly rate range from £7.50 to £12 depending on age, performance and experience.

Working hours

There are various hours available to suit your needs.

We have day shifts, evening shifts, weekend shifts and public holiday shifts available.

You may work full day shifts, or you may work split shifts, with early starts, time off in the middle of the day and a return to work for a later shift if you wish.

Qualifications

You don’t need any specific qualifications for any role as full training will be given.

Skills

You’ll need to have:

  • Good command of English is a prerequisite
  • Must be polite, punctual, hard working and reliable
  • Good communication skills are preferred
  • Customer focus and relationship building skills
  • Team-work spirit
  • Attention to detail

**We are unable to offer employment to anyone younger than 14 years of age due to insurance limitations. Preparing and cooking orders have a minimum age requirement of 16 due to insurance limitations

**IMPORTANT**
Please note that there is limited public transport from Woolacombe to Mullacott Cross

We can provide a lift from Woolacombe to Mullacott Cross if you are working a shift which finishes late. This will enable you to use a bus service to the surrounding areas. Buses from Mullacott Cross run very regularly.

This may not apply to you if applying for the part-time position.

We will subsidise transport costs that you may incur whilst travelling to and from our place of work

*Sign-up Bonus Terms & Conditions

  1. You must complete the companies four week probationary period to be eligible for the sign-up bonus
  2. Any absence of more than 5 days during the probationary period voids the sign-up bonus offer
  3. You have the option of having the bonus paid in weekly installments during the four week probationary period
  4. If you choose the weekly option and leave the company after two months, any sign-up bonus will become repayable in full to the company
  5. Full time positions are eligible for the full £500 sign-up bonus, part time positions are eligible for £250 sign-up bonus
